Tropical Property has always done things a little differently and for some new corporate images we wanted beach scenes. Susan met us at 6 am one cool August morning and set the scene for some very unique images which we have used for our online and print advertising. Susan photographed my family when my grandsons were a couple of weeks old and did an amazing job. Susan is a pleasure to work with. It was a bit hectic with our large family and 2 week old twins but Susan did a wonderful job and captured many special moments on the day. Her professionalism and her amazing energy made us feel at ease. Some beautiful shots were taken without us even knowing , which reflected the natural feel to our photos. Susan perfectly captured all the magical moments of our special day. Her natural approach and calm demeanour made our photo sessions very enjoyable. She’s not afraid to think outside the square when it comes to photo opportunities – one of my favourite photos is of me ‘flying’ above the bridal party…the photo was the most downloaded wedding photo in 2012 apparently! My wedding photos feature on canvases on the walls of our home, so I’m reminded daily of all the amazing moments during our big day
Susan took professional photos for my house to be put up on AirBnB. You only need to look on Airbnb to see the difference between shots taken professionally compared with those that are not. House and interior photos are a lot harder than people think! With her photographic skills and experience she was able to enhance every room and aspect of my home. It was really worth it as I’ve had lots of compliments and bookings based on those pictures. I would highly recommend Susan as she’s a true professional who knows how to deliver her clients needs.
I first met Susan after my second son Joel was born, Susan came to our home to do our first family/Newborn photoshoot, she made us feel ever so comfortable and relaxed around the camera, it was all so natural and fun, we have since been back to Susan for our engagement shoot and also our wedding, i am currently pregnant with my third child and Susan is working on a pregnancy timeline for me, i can’t wait to see the end result. We also have booked in our newborn shoot for next May when baby is born, we wouldn’t have anyone else, Susan has become our very own personal photographer, we will sure have many more shoots in the coming years. I love Susan’s Unique style in photography and she goes above and beyond for everyone.
I was so impressed with Susan’s professionalism and exploration of wanting to explore and capture the human spirit in its natural form. I was looking for a photographer who could capture the beauty of a women’s soul…Susan has that ‘Special Touch’ that makes one look at her work and say….Wow….her work is true Art. Susan has done two photography shoots for me so far – one when my boys were born and second on their first birthday. Susan’s photographs are amazing and captured every moment and all the special memories of these two events. We will be asking her to photograph the boys ever year on their birthday.
Susan was fantastic. She arrived and chatted for a while, then just casually took out her camera and proceeded to capture an array of photographs of us all in our home together. We just adore the photos from that day. They truly capture the bubble of love, awe and contentment we were feeling as a brand new family.
Susan did an amazing job in making us feel comfortable in our own home and encouraged us to explore some of our creativity in the photo shoot. We were really happy with the end result and would definitely recommend her to capture the precious moments of other families
Thanks for your sensitivity and fabulous photography. Having a fellow artist to work with is invaluable. The photos of the Jadella Lies exhibition have travelled far. How do you do it Susan….you make the most uncomfortable of us laugh and produce the most meaningful photographs that capture the essence of the moments.
We were made to feel completely relaxed and at ease with Susan. The photos are stunning and capture each moment beautifully. Being first time mum with a 4 week old baby we were completely sleep deprived. Susan managed to see past that and capture the eternal love we have for our baby Charlie.
